Our highly experienced and compassionate team strives daily to encourage our participants to lead happy, healthy, and functionally independent lives. Our life skills trainers are experienced in acquired BI, behavioral health, and eldercare. All staff are carefully chosen based upon their experience, personality, warmth, and compassion.

Our support staff receive on-going support and training from our masters level Applied Behavior Analyst and Brain Injury Specialist in the following areas:

- Brain anatomy
- Fine and Gross motor skill training development
- Behavioral support training
- Cognitive stimulation
- Behavior management
- Challenges after brain injury
- Brain injury rehabilitation techniques
- Co-Occurrence of Mental Illness and personality disorders

Basic trainings include:
- Goal-oriented individual program plans
- Emergency and Fire Evacuation
- Assessment skills
- Infection control and Universal Precautions
- Crisis prevention and intervention
- Identifying and managing difficult behaviors
- Health Emergency Response
- Activities of Daily Living
- Nutrition and Diet
- Transfers
- Trainings provided for individual needs such as seizures, diabetes, Parkinson's, etc.

Trainings are conducted quarterly and as needed.

Other Requirements:
- Communicable disease screening including TB
- Background checks
- Red Cross Certified First Aid and Injury Response
- Qualified Medication Administration Personnel Training
